Proware’s Promises

The technology services company does so by empowering its client base with personnel management software, enterprise system security solutions, and a host of other cloud-based services currently impacting hundreds of thousands of people across the globe daily.

However, its own selling process — specifically, generating the sales quotes that help drive new business — was anything but efficient.

To put it bluntly, Proware had no codified system for creating sales proposals. They were made ad hoc and often taking as long as an hour to create — let alone, send, track, and otherwise manage.

Additionally, there was a lack of information available to sales representatives during the closing process as some info was stored in Proware’s CRM, some on sales reps’ mobile devices and desktops, and some not even stored at all.

It was time for a change, and that change was iQuoteXpress (IQX).

IQX + Zoho CRM = A big win

A critical factor for Proware in choosing a CPQ system was integration with its CRM system, Zoho. Fortunately, IQX not only had an integration, but a single sign-on CPQ integration with Zoho CRM that made the ability to quickly create and send professional quotes feel like a native functionality in Zoho.

From a platform perspective, the integrated solution delivered “an end-to-end solution that…allows us to connect them [sales quotes and CRM] in an agile way for our business process,” said Carlos Holmes, Sales Director at Proware. 

Holmes stated that IQX also enabled centralization of sales information, improved analysis of its funnel, and ensured faster action was being taken on every quote.

Which is all well and good: everyone likes efficiency between systems, centralized data, and more complete reporting. But that’s not always where the bottom-line value is.
